AI Visibility for Local Business

AI does not rank your business. It names two or three, or it names none.

When someone asks an AI assistant who to call, it weighs five things about your business, then names a handful of names, sometimes yours, sometimes not. Here is what those five factors are, and what our dated captures show the engines actually read before they answer.

The Rubric

The five factors AI weighs

Not a black box. These are the five plain factors behind whether an engine can find you, reach you, quote you, book you, and trust you.

The rubric: what AI weighs before it names a business
  1. FindableYour business information can be found and reads the same everywhere it appears.
  2. ReachableYour phone number, address, and hours are posted in plain text an engine can read and repeat.
  3. QuotableYour site states plainly who you are and what you do, in a sentence an engine can quote word for word.
  4. BookableThere is one clear way to book or request service that an engine can point a customer to.
  5. TrustedYou are listed and consistent across the review and directory sites engines actually cite.
What our captures show

On our Perplexity capture logged 2026-07-31, the engine showed its work: 15 cited sources behind one answer, including Reddit threads, a Yelp top ten list, a roundup article, and Facebook group threads. Not one of those sources was a business homepage alone.

That is the pattern across every capture we have run: engines pull names from community threads, directory listings, and roundup articles, not just search rank. We do not sell a score. We sell the receipt. And we prove it works by running it on ourselves in public first, losses included, at namebeam.ai.

Our own record

As of 2026-08-01, AI does not name Namebeam either, 0 of 5 engines. We publish that number in public, because a business that will show you its own zero can be trusted to show you yours. See the record at the AI Visibility Index.

Method

How this page was built. The five factor rubric reflects the categories Namebeam scores in its Get-Booked Audit: Findable, Reachable, Quotable, Bookable, and Trusted. The citation pattern described above reflects our Perplexity capture logged 2026-07-31, which listed 15 sources behind a single answer. This is a description of one engine's behavior on one date, not a guarantee of how any engine will answer in the future. Namebeam is an educational and marketing service and does not guarantee rankings, traffic, or revenue.
