Named by AI: the dated record, and how to show it on your own website
What the record is
Every day Namebeam sends the buyer question for one niche in one market, for example residential roofing in Miami FL, to Perplexity (search), and to Gemini and Claude by API without web browsing (ChatGPT too through 2026-10-25; it has not answered since 2026-10-26). Namebeam keeps each full answer, hashed, with its date. A business page states how many of the days checked at least one of those answers named that business. A page exists for a business named on 5 or more days.
How a day is counted
A day counts once for a business if at least one engine's answer on that day named it. Two engines naming it on the same day is still one day. A day on which no answer named it is a day not named. The number on a page is days named out of days checked, with the first and last dates beside it. It is a count of what the engines said, not a rating, and it can fall as well as rise.
Inclusion is never paid and cannot be bought
Namebeam does not take money from a business to be named, to be listed, or to change a number, and nothing on a named page is for sale to the business it names. Who is named is decided by what the engines answered on each day, and the raw answers are kept as the record.
The snippet is free
If your business has a page, the bottom of that page has a box titled "Is this your business?" with a short piece of HTML. It is a plain text link: no image, no script, no tracking. The linked page updates each day, and the numbers inside the snippet are as of the date written in it, so you can paste a fresh copy whenever you like. This is the shape of it, with the numbers of your own page in place of N and M:

Ask for a correction
If a page names the wrong business, merges two businesses, or carries a number you can show is wrong, email [email protected] with the page address and what the record should say. A fix is made in the next daily build and the correction stays on the record. You can also ask in the same email for your row to be removed from the index.
